Within every Castle there is a courtyard.

Protected within the walls, it is the centre for the life and activities that the castle was built for.

The castle’s separate volumes house various activities which are distributed by function and hierarchy.

The spaces must be versatile so that, in time, they withstand changes and adaptations.

The activities that are more social and open to the public will be located in the base.

In the towers, the more secretive activities are located, where security is higher and more critical.

The visual reference is instantly recognisable.

A longer analysis reveals a hierarchy of very rigorous details to indicate entrances, living spaces, leisure and work areas.

The CONCEPT becomes reality in the place where it originated.

The CASTLE becomes the dynamic CONCEPT of the DESIGN.
